Very showy perennial, a favorite of humming birds and butterflies. 

  • Height- 24-36”
  • Width- 12-18”
  • Moisture: Dry to Moist
  • Sun: Full sun to part shade
  • Bloom time: late May- June 
  • Direct sowing: Best sown in fall. Seeds have some level of dormancy and will germinate in early spring. 
  • Growing transplants: Expose seeds to 60-90 days cold-moist environment. Seeds will  germinate in moderate temperatures (60-70 degrees).
