Very showy perennial, a favorite of humming birds and butterflies.

Direct sowing: Best sown in fall. Seeds have some level of dormancy and will germinate in early spring. 
Growing transplants: Expose seeds to 60-90 days cold-moist environment. Seeds will  germinate in moderate temperatures (60-70 degrees).
