A native thistle. One of the best mid-season pollinator plants! Attracts lots of bumblebees and butterflies. Does not spread. Large, biennial plants usually bloom heavily in the second year, and do not come back the year after. Prefers full to partial sun and medium moisture. (Mother plants from Lincoln county)
