Cheery, early blooming annual. Very low, sprawling plant covered with large yellow and white flowers that attract honeybees, small native bees, flies and butterflies. This plant grows well in saturated clay soils but also likes quality soil. Re-seeds prolifically.

Bloom time: April-May
Direct sowing: Best sown in the fall. Seeds will germinate readily in fall and grow steadily throughout the winter. Can be sown in spring (before April), plants will be smaller.
Growing transplants: Seeds do not exhibit dormancy but germinate best in cool temperatures (50-65 degrees).
